Instrumental Scholarship Program
The Hendricks Symphonic Society is pleased to announce that we are inaugurating an Instrumental Scholarship Program. Scholarships will be available for high school and college students who are studying privately and play in the Hendricks Symphony Orchestra for the 2010-11 season. Scholarships will be offered based upon a combination of the orchestra’s needs and the student's ability. Orchestra openings, July, 2010:
Concertmaster, Oboe, Bassoon, Horn, Trombone and Section Strings.
Instrumentalists are welcome to audition for all sections. For further information or to set up an audition, contact Benjamin Del Vecchio (317-241-0750). Audition times and locations available by arrangement.
Concertmaster needed
The Hendricks Symphony is seeking a concertmaster for the 2010-11 season. There is a small stipend available for this position. The concertmaster must be able to attend all HSO rehearsals and concerts (see HSO schedule).
